Borucas

Descripción

Also known as Bruncas or Brunkaj. With about 2000 members, they live in the southern part of Puntarenas. They ruled the Osa Peninsula. They are known for their crafts, especially masks painted on balsa wood and fabrics. The festival of the Little Devils Dance is famous, which represents the Boruka people and the Spanish conqueror. It is accompanied by dances, food and drinks.

What to do

We leave depending on the distance 5:00, 6:00 or 7:00 in the morning. You go to breakfast at a place on the route or with the same producers or indigenous people. You will get to know the landscape, culture, cultivation and other centers of interest in the area. Lunch is served with one of the organized groups using local products, traditional dishes and healthy soft drinks.
