They are an ethno-linguistic community in San Francisco de Térraba and other localities such as the Térraba-Boruca Reserve in the Canton of Buenos Aires, Puntarenas. They are around 621 people. This Naso ethnic group is original from Bocas del Toro, Panama and they have meetings and exchanges with them to regain their culture. They grow rice, sugarcane, corn, beans, bananas and fishing
